  12. On July 1, 1996, Court TV held a same-sex marriage debate between lawyers Evan Wolfson and Rick Duncan.

  14. Wolfson is the director of The Marriage Project for Lambda Legal Defense, the leading civil rights group for gay men and lesbians. He is co-counsel in Baehr v. Miike, the Hawaii case seeking the freedom to marry for gay and lesbian people.
